APRIL
- Picklr, called the world’s largest home club, will hold a magnificent opening for an exclusivity at 120 Gristmill Plaza in Williamsburg April 5, according to social media.

March
- Circle 41 sports bar in 605 pilot House Drive in Newport News closed on March 3.
- Newport News early childhood development center at 1500 Jefferson Avenue opened for children in early March.
- The owner and operator of Food Truck Foodatude plans to open a brick and mortar institution called Dizy Izzy’s Pizza in the building that once invaded Jamestown Pie Company in Jamestown Road in Williamsburg. The owner does not have a specific opening date. He was aiming for a gentle opening in March, but the time limit was pushed back, according to a Facebook post.

February
- Pop VB, a balloon design company in Virginia Beach, expanded its services by adding an interactive balloon bar to its Hilltop store in 1625 Donna Drive on February 4th.
- Rachambeau Roadside Inn reopen February 5 after a remodeling, according to a news announcement. It is located at 929 Capitol Landing Road in Williamsburg.
- The Museum of Muscarelle in William & Mary will develop a magnificent reopening on February 8 after a two-year expansion project, according to a news announcement.
- Glo Fiber will hold a magnificent opening on Blvd Godwin 2815, Unit I-2, in Suffolk on February 13, according to a news announcement.
- Legal seafood was closed on February 18 after two years in the city center in Virginia Beach.
- The location of the Banfield Pet Hospital inside Petsmart at the Hampton Peninsula City City will close the week of February 23, according to the company.
- Tim Hortons opened in Norfolk in the former Boston market on the 472 N military highway.
- Streats & Bar Restaurant in Norfolk closed on February 28th.
- Bricks & Minifigs, which offers new and pre-ownership bands Lego, rare minifigins and wholesale bricks, open at Williamsburg Premium Stores on February 28, according to a news announcement. It is located in 5715 Richmond Road, B028 space in Williamsburg.
- Some Joann locations are closing on the streets of Hampton while the retail seller tear all shops across the country: 1593 BLVD Crossways, Chesapeake; 1076 W Blvd Mercury, Hampton; 14346 Blvd Warwick, Newport News; 551 Hilltop Plaza, Virginia Beach; 5103 Main St., Williamsburg. Closing dates have not been notified.

January
- The Phoebus auction gallery in Hampton closed January 1.
- Sunday 29:11 The cuisine of the soul of the soul held a magnificent opening on January 3 at 5014 Jefferson Ave. in Newport News.
- Crush it art bar had a magnificent opening of his brick and mortar shop on January 4. Located at 15154 Blvd Carrollton, in Carrollton.
- At the beginning of January, the Crossfit 1607 moved from its location to the Casey Boulevard to the new city in a larger space within the Williamsburg internal sports complex.
- The Josse family orthodontics moved from its location to 1116 Professional Drive to a larger office in 4324 New Town Ave. in Williamsburg.
- Two Locations of Gamestop were closed: Location at Chesapeake Square Mall in Chesapeake and Store in 4615 Monticello Ave. in Williamsburg.
- New Dominion Pictures based on Suffolk, which will remain in action, placed its building in 1000 Way movie for auction. Employees will work remotely.
- Sour Street Pizza opened in the East Beach neighborhood at 35 East Ocean View Ave., Suite 400, in Norfolk.
- Iron -connected gym in the new Williamsburg city area in mid -January plans to expand and will take over the space occupied by Cogan’s Deli & Sports Pub. The gym is located in 4325 New Town Ave., across the road from Deli.
- A self-preservation house structure, Storage Ocean, opened on January 15 in 1612 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, according to a news announcement.
- Habit Burger & Grill opened its fourth location of Virginia, the first in Hampton Roads, January 15 in the former Boston market on Boulevard 3981 Virginia Beach near Meyer E. Oberndorf Central Library in Virginia Beach.
- Atomic Wings opened its first location in the state on January 18th at 3813 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach.
- The city of Hounds, a day of day Care and the dormitory, opened its first location of Hampton Roads on January 18 at the Hidenwood Shopping Center in Newport News at Christopher Newport University.
- Happy events, a luxury scene in Williamsburg’s Edge district, celebrated its magnificent opening on January 19. The business is located in 7207 Merimac Trail in the building that previously housed Tequila Rose Restaurant Mexican.
- Human Suffolk Society held a large reopening in 412 Kings Fork Road on January 24, according to a news announcement.
- US FOODS, a national food services distributor, opened two chef storage on the streets of Hampton 25 January. Hampton’s warehouse is at 6 Towne Center Way and Virginia Beach’s location is in the BLVD 4001 Virginia Beach.
- The Redwood Smoke Shack opened on January 28 at the former Bennett’s Creek farms market in Suffolk.
- The chicken salad bird opened in the Greenbrier neighborhood of Chesapeake at 733 Eden Way in the north.
- Urgentvet opened a location of Newport News in 12266 Jefferson Ave., according to a news announcement.
- After more than 50 years in business, Charlie’s antiques in Lightfoot were closed on January 31st.
- D1 Training, a non -traditional gym that offers personalized training programs, opened on January 31 in 3636 Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach.

The end of 2024
- Phoebus Dive Bar in Hampton closed December 31st.
- Popular neighborhood neighborhood Back Bay Brewing Co. In Virginia Beach had the last day of business at Back Bay Beach House 28 December. Crow and Spir, a Europe -inspired pub, will take its place at the beginning of the year.
- Publix maintained a magnificent opening of its first location in Virginia Beach on December 12th. Located in Hickman Place in 2200 General Booth Blvd.
- A soft opening was held December 12 for whale tea, a new bubble tea store located at 101 College Row, Suite 4107, on the Midtown Street of Williamsburg.
- Pepper Palace, a chain store specialized in hot sauces, opened on December 7 at 425 Prince George St. In the previously occupied space from the campus store in downtown Williamsburg.
- New Realm Brewing Co. opened its second location of Virginia in 5941 Harbor View Blvd. in Suffolk on November 22.

Coming soon
- Owners of the Balkan Pizza Food Balkan Drinks plan to open a restaurant along Merimac Trail beyond Auto Advanced Auto in Williamsburg earlier this year.
- Kohl notified plans to close 27 shops in 15 countries in the spring. Store at Marquis Shopping Center on York County Street will close.
- VA vintage plans to open at the location of the former Big Lots on the Booth Boulevard in Virginia Beach in the spring.
- The salad house plans to open the first Hampton Roads restaurant in the Williamsburg area until spring.
- Brewing Voodoo plans to open a beer that serves beer, cocktails, wine, ribbons, salads and more in early spring. The opening is scheduled in Midtown Row, near the super chicken & custard.
- A playground called Owl Creek Landing, which will include a 65 -meter -long observation tower, a suspended crossing, tree house and more will open to the public in the spring. It will be placed after the Aquarium and Maritime Science Center in Virginia in Virginia Beach.
- Brazilian Steakhouse Fogo de Chao is scheduled to open at Pembroke’s Virginia Beach Square in the summer. It will be located in the BLVD 4554 Virginia Beach.
- Primitive Born is expanding its headquarters in Virginia Beach in the fall in 1469-1489 BLVD Virginia Beach.
