The safety in the cloud is broken in some basic ways. Organizations are stuck in an endless loop: put resources, scan for weaknesses, clashes to correct. What if the wrong configurations and security risks never make it in production in the first place?
It is an old and constant debate on online security – detection and response to preventing the issue in the first place. Why not shift the security left by implementing policies in the setting phase, not after? This is the question that made Aryon Security to develop a new radical approach – one that prevents risks before deployment, rather than detecting them afterwards.
I recently spoken to Ron Arbel, Yair Ladizhensky and Ariel Litmanovich about the challenges of security in the cloud and how organizations need adaptation.
Why “Detect and Fix” is a failed strategy
Statistics paint a gloomy look. Gartner estimates that 99% of the security violations in the cloud are derived from human error and incorrect configuration – Mistakes that could have been avoided with appropriate safeguards.

How does the implementation run by it work

Lessons from Provision of Nimbus Project
Aryon’s governing team built his expertise while securing Israel’s $ 7.2 billion project Nimbus Cloud, one of the most sensitive cloud settings in the world. This experience formed their belief that proactive security is the only escalating solution.
“Providing the Nimbus project gave us first -hand experience with the complexity of critical infrastructure protection on the scale,” says Ariel Litmanovich, CTO and co -founder of Aryon. “We learned that most security failures did not come from sophisticated attacks – they came from daily mistakes, repeated over and over, in very complex environments to manage.”

“CSPM and CWPP solutions are critical for the right visibility and time, but they work reactive – identifying problems only after they have reached production,” Arbel explains. “Aryon substantially changes that model by shifting the implementation of safety to the placement phase, preventing the creation of unsafe resources.”

A first prevention model is already attracting interest from enterprise enterprises that require a better way to secure cloud. While the company recently provided $ 9 million in seed funds, led by Viola Ventures and Blumberg Capital, its true impact will come from redefining the way organizations think about the safety of cloud-like something to be built, not blocked.
