President Donald Trump on Friday said Elon Musk is doing a “very good job” with the government efficiency department.
The Efficiency Team of the Government of Tesla Elon Musk has been temporarily blocked by access to certain government systems, according to a federal judge on Saturday.
US District Judge Paul Engelmayer issued a ruling after a group of general lawyers sued the Department of Efficiency of the Musk (DGE) Government on Friday, arguing that the Presidential Commission has no right to enter the US Treasury Systems Department .
The order was convicted by Musk, who called the decision “absolutely crazy” in an X post and accused Engelmayer of being “an activist posing as a judge”.
“How on Earth should we stop deception and losing taxpayer money without looking at how money is spent?” Musk said on Saturday.

Friday’s lawsuit, which was filed by 19 Democratic lawyers general, claimed that Musk’s team violated the law by giving them “full access” to treasury payment systems. Systems include information about the benefits of American social security, media and veterans, tax refund information and more.
The lawsuit was filed in New York by the Office of New York Prosecutor General Letitia James, who wrote that President Donald Trump “does not have the power to donate private information to anyone who chooses, and he cannot cut federal payments approved by Congress. “
“Musk and Doge have no authority to access the American private information and some of our country’s most sensitive data,” the James statement added. ”
According to his order, Engelmayer said the claims of the lawsuit were “particularly strong”, and expressed concern about the Dgee internet security risks that had privileged access to the Treasury Department.

“This is both because of the risk that the new policy presents the discovery of sensitive and confidential information and the increased risk that the systems in question will be more tangible than before to hack,” Engelmayer wrote.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has expressed support for Musk and Doge in the past, saying recently that the SH.BA “has no income problem, we have a expense problem”.
“In the treasure, our payment system is not being affected,” Bessent said in a “Kudlow” interview Wednesday. “We process 1.3 billion payments per year. There is a study that is being done – can we have more responsibility, more accuracy, more traces that money is going to where they are?”
Bessent also said that Doge will “not fail” while submitting FOX business.
